Happy Andalucia Day!🤗 I must say I'm really ble Happy Andalucia Day!🤗 I must say I'm really blessed to live here during these difficult times. Whenever it's possible to move around anywere but my house I've got so much to explore. Andalicia consists of 8 incredible provinces, Granada, Huelva, Seville, Cadiz, Cordoba, Jaen, Almeria, and my home province, Malaga.

They're all rich in culture, nature, and local customs and fiestas💃

I thought I'd share a snapshot from each province to show their beauty! Mainly, nature I know! My weak spot😄

How many of these provinces have you been to?

Ria Formosa Natural Park covers a huge part of eas Ria Formosa Natural Park covers a huge part of eastern Algarve, both on land and in the ocean. There are also 6 islands in the protected area. There is a huge population of wildlife that is protected.

Among them, a population of seahorses that live just off Culatra Island. They used to be the world's biggest seahorse population with millions living there. Then dropped with 90% in only a few years.

Illegal fishing in the natural park and pollution that disturb the ecosystem are parts of the problem.

There are still many to be seen, and it's possible to snorkel there. Right now, it's not possible to rent masks and snorkel due to the pandemic, though.

I don't see a problem snorkeling there now. There are hardly any boats out as it's after the tourist season. But in August, when there are hundreds of boats and tourists fighting for the same space, I'm a bit sceprical to it being a good idea letting loose the tourists in the water.

What do you think? Do you think too many tourists snorkeling around the remaining seahorses can become a problem? (When pandemic is under control?)
