Best Ronda Wine Tours: Serrania de Ronda Wine Tasting Experiences

Looking for the best Ronda wine tours? Look no further. This is one of the best things to do in Ronda, yet so unsung.

If you love good wine, the Serrania de Ronda region in Andalucia is fantastic for exactly that, being one of the most underrated wine regions in Spain.

Ronda’s wine route is great for a road trip, but if you’re a little bit like me, you probably want to drink some wine too, and then driving is not a good match.

I took a Ronda wine tasting tour, and it was an epic experience where we learned a whole heap about the wines and the production. It’s a great way to slow down during your trip to Andalucia and surround yourself with the serene countryside.

The wines of Serrania de Ronda are unique due to the high altitude the grapes grow up to 900 meters of altitude. This results in fruity and spicy wines full of attitude!

1. From Costa del Sol: Full Day Ronda Town and Wine Tour

🍷 BEST GROUP TOUR 🍷

This is a fabulous day trip to Ronda from anywhere on the Costa del Sol, which includes wine tasting at two different wineries.

I love this tour as it’s a combination of sightseeing (trust me, there are so many reasons to visit Ronda!) and wine tasting. Ronda is a fabulous town, so it would be a pity to miss out on it.

You’ll visit both Bodegas Conrad and Cortijo Los Aguilares, which are among the best Ronda vineyards. There, you’ll get to taste a few of their wines, and at the first vineyard, you’ll even get some tapas.

Besides the tasting, they’ll take you around the properties and barrel rooms, telling you everything about the production and history of their wineries.

This is a fantastic budget option and the best option for solo travelers. There’s so much included, and the guide was fabulous when I went!

2. From Costa del Sol: Private Ronda Wine Tour and Tapas

🍷 BEST PRIVATE TOUR 🍷

This is a great option departing from several places on Costa del Sol and includes free time for sightseeing in Ronda besides the wine tours. Ronda is such an impressive town and deserves exploring.

This private wine Ronda tour takes you to the Finca La Melonera Winery, which is an organic winery that has revived the local grapes that were wiped out in the late 19th century by the phylloxera plague.

The wine tasting includes some tapas, and you get a tour of the vineyards and the wine cellar, where they tell you more about the wine production.

I love this tour as it’s one of the best wineries in Ronda (is it only me that appreciates an organic wine?) But also the host was super friendly and the landscape was so incredibly beautiful.

After the vineyard visit, you’ll visit Ronda, where you’ll get free time to explore the town.
